Staircraft a West Midlands based staircase manufacturer has welcomed the finance it has been able to access thanks to the Regional Growth Fund (RGF).
The manufacturing finance provided to Staircraft through the RGF fund, who currently have three operational locations across the West Midlands in Nuneaton (from where its head office is based), Wednesbury and Coventry will enable them to facilitate the improved expansion of its capacity after securing the funding from the RGF.
Staircraft is a market-leading supplier of timber staircases to the UK’s major housebuilders, and have been manufacturing and supplying staircases to the UK building industry for some 30 years. It employs about 150 staff resulting in a turnover of £10m, many of whom assist in constantly reviewing their products and services, often leading to continually refining our their approach to meet the high volume and rapid delivery demands of this sector.
Staircraft bespoke manufacturing facilities
In total £210,000 was awarded to Staircraft through the RGF funding route, which it will be used to install bespoke manufacturing facilities at its factory in Coventry, a result of which it is hoped that an expected total of 50 jobs will be created as well as an increase in production capacity.

“We aim to supply a floor with every staircase and address the demand for more rapid build technologies, leading to greater efficiency, reduced waste and reduced overall build cost.
“We are now in the process of fine-tuning the new facilities which are unique and have been designed to not only improve efficiency and production costs but to also bring our innovations to market.”
